Babies make me Laugh!

I wish I were the kind of blogger who has blogs written months in advance, but I am not!!! Most weeks I am on the lookout for new material to write about and what you see is usually about as new and fresh as it comes.

But, this week you will have to indulge me a little. You see, for the past 5 days, my husband and I have been given the wonderful opportunity for some “special” time with our 16 month old granddaughter while her parents and two brothers went on a vacation of their own.

This little girl has been such a joy, but caring for a baby takes time and ENERGY. So, in this week’s blog, I am allowing myself some creative time sharing some baby pics and Bible verses since I just experienced one of those busy summertime weeks.

"I love spending time with Grandpa."

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

"Love swimming with Grammi, Cuz, and Uncle."

I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.

Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye is wasted from grief; my soul and my body also.

Unequal weights and unequal measures are both alike an abomination to the Lord.

With my voice I cry out to the LORD; with my voice I plead for mercy to the LORD.
Psalm 142:1

Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—

"It is so funny."

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” Psalm 126:2

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28

"Or maybe I will go to my own office and be an entrepreneur when I grow up!"

all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

Prayer:

Dear God, help me always to love your children - As babies, as children, as teenagers, as young adults, as middle age, and as seniors. Be with me as I train, teach, and console those you bring into my path. I trust your guidance and wisdom. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
